Michael had his two-month-old checkup this morning -- the coldest morning we've had in awhile! It was 25 out today and blustery, but at least it was sunny. The pediatrician, Dr. Agrawal, said Michael is doing great. He is now 11 lb 3 oz, so gained over 2 pounds this month, and he is 24 inches long. The first measurement put him squarely at the 50th percentile, and the second, the 90th. So he is, as Dr. Agrawal put it, "long and lean." :) I'm just happy he's all healthy.

Oh, also, at the request of both grandmothers, we're waiting till Monday to do this month's shots, so the baby is less likely to be cranky or running a fever for his baptism this weekend.

So exciting! Sounds like the plan is working! And he seems to have grown up so much! Eyes following everything! Surrounded by loving and doting relatives this weekend. Should be fabulous!
