Malcolm playing a game

Malcolm has been doing very well lately - our big breakthrough is that he finally potty-trained last month!  And there was much rejoicing.  It took awhile but once he figured out he didn't have to be scared and he recognized when he needed to go, it really clicked.  He's very proud of himself and we are extremely happy to have him mostly out of diapers.  He's only had two or three accidents in the last four weeks.  His prize was getting ice cream at Chick-fil-A with Dad.  Yay Malcolm!

Michael got a few new board games for his birthday and Malcolm is mostly interested in playing them too.  Here is a video of him playing Sequence for Kids with me the other night.  Sometimes he plays by the rules (only playing one card out of three per turn), and we encourage this especially when playing with Michael, since he cares a lot about the rules.  Other times, he just takes a lot of cards and plays them all.  It's fun :)
