Malcolm can now crawl all over the house and follows you from room to room - so if you step away for a minute, be prepared to hear a determined crawler behind you and see a little head pop around the corner. He tends to make a beeline for wherever Michael is playing with magnet letters and crayons, so it's sometimes a challenge to keep him distracted. He watches everything Michael does and always wants to sit on your lap and watch if Michael is doing letters or numbers on the computer. He has his own online favorites, though, and is very effective in his wordless way at communicating to Dad that he wants to be picked up and watch Elmo's ducks. We've had a reprieve from teething this month, but the last couple of days his teeth seem to be hurting again (to judge from the repeated attempts to chew on shoes, socks, pillows, and my leg, or while nursing, etc.) Malcolm is a big snuggler and I can't get enough of him or those cheeks!
