Number of bites : Number of napkins = approximately 1 : 1
This whole process of civilizing children can be endlessly exasperating and amusing. You teach them to wash their hands, and they spend 8 minutes at the sink playing in bubbles every time. You tell them to use a napkin to wipe their mouths after eating, and they take that to mean one napkin per bite. "No, I didn't mean--!" Sigh. :)
