Then Mrs. Lawler played with him a bunch last week, and after a day or two she said everything seemed to click with him on the letter recognition. Now he knows what letter goes with everyone's name and some different words, too. Here he is showing his Grandma how he knows some of his letters now. I am totally impressed with my little guy. A is for Amanda, T is for ... T!
Three weeks ago, my mom got little Michael an alphabet puzzle. Michael studied it carefully for awhile before he dumped it out and started playing with it. Within a week I noticed that he knew exactly where the letter "T" was (he showed this to Aunt T last week :), and he could put all the letters in place:
